AT&T just let me know that it will be releasing a new, white version of Research In Motion's (RIM) popular, high-end BlackBerry Bold 9000 device on October 18 via the carrier's website.The new, Bold will sell for the same price as the --$199.99 with a new two-year service agreement, after rebate. The BlackBerry Bold 9000 is an AT&T exclusive device in the United States, and the carrier first .
BlackBerry fans, or CrackBerry addicts, will be interested in the new, white Bold 9000, if for no other reason than to check out the new color. However, folks looking to upgrade or replace their existing devices might want to wait a few more weeks, when AT&T is expected to announce the brand new BlackBerry Bold 9700, or "Onyx," as it was codenamed.
The Bold 9700 has many of the same features as the 9000, in addition to many new improvements, including additional application memory space and the new BlackBerry handheld OS, v5.0, all packed in a smaller, more sleek form factor.
