MOBOTIX AG: MOBOTIX Starts 2013 With New Chief Financial Officer

Winnweiler/Langmeil, Germany, 14 December 2012. The MOBOTIX AG Supervisory
Board appointed Klaus Gesmann as new Chief Financial Officer at yesterday's
meeting. The industrial engineer from Kaiserslautern, Germany, will take up
his new position on January 1, 2013. With Gesmann, MOBOTIX gains a manager
who has already many years of experience as a CFO
After completing his studies at the University of Kaiserslautern, Gesmann
began his career at the University's Chair of Business Information Systems
and Operations Research. Two years later, Gesmann was managing director of
the Business and Innovation Centre (BIC) Kaiserslautern and responsible for
developing the technology center into a European center of innovation. The
company was especially focused on supporting young, technology-oriented and
innovative entrepreneurs. In 1999, Gesmann took over responsibility for the
Finance and HR divisions as a member of the international management board
at the software company TECMATH/Blue Order AG. He became CFO in 2006 and
remained in that role until the company was sold to the NASDAQ-listed
company AVID Inc.
'Klaus Gesmann stands out on account of his own entrepreneurial activities
and many years of international experience as a CFO in the technology
sector,' says Dr. Ralf Hinkel, CEO of MOBOTIX AG. 'I am delighted that the
transition within the Management Board will be completed at the beginning
of 2013 and we can focus on the challenges of the international markets.'
The MOBOTIX Management Board will consist of Dr. Ralf Hinkel (Chief
Executive Officer), Dr. Magnus Ekerot (Chief Sales Officer), Dr. Oliver
Gabel (Chief Technology Officer) and Klaus Gesmann (Chief Financial
Officer), effective January 1, 2013.
Both the Management Board and the Supervisory Board wish Klaus Gesmann a
successful start in his new position.
