IT services and Cloud provider, Anittel, has signed a managed services contract with one of Australia's largest industry super funds, CareSuper. The two-year contract includes managed services and equipment spend. CareSuper has outsourced all its servers, storage, networks, operating systems and end user support, upgrading the full operating environment as well as procurement of new telephone systems, video conferencing, wireless solutions and Cloud backups. The contract services more than 60 personnel largely based in Melbourne and some offices around Australia. CareSuper identified the need to upgrade its IT environment and integrate telephony through a fully-fledged outsourced model. CareSuper chief executive, Julie Lander, said, as a national superannuation fund with more than 260,000 members, the organisation required a provider with a national presence that could seamlessly and without disruption to staff and members, upgrade our entire IT and communications environment Anittel regional Manager, George Fattouche, said Anittel's focus was to ensure system availability, risk mitigation and business continuity. "We implemented the key changes and turned them around with limited impact to the end user," he said. Anittel supports CareSuper with a combination of Cisco and Dell hardware.

The company was recently acquired by Inabox Group Limited.
