Epson's new A3+ photo printer targets pro artists, designers and illustrators
Out November 1, Epson's SC-P400 is a lower cost version of the SC-P600 - featuring seven coloured ink cartridges rather than the P600's nine. There's also a separate Gloss Optimizer cartridge that you can apply to give prints an extra shine.
Epson claims that the P400 produces the smallest droplet size of any A3+ inkjet printer (1.5pl), allowing it to print more detailed images.
The company also says that the P400's inks are the "most affordable pigment ink-set on the market" - though no price for the inks or the printer have been announced.
