The story, "Facebook could cash in from Messenger games," posted to the wire Monday, misstated the day in which a Facebook spokeswoman commented on a company announcement about Messenger. She spoke about the announcement Monday.
The seventh paragraph of the story has been corrected on the wire to read:
Although the Messenger platform is now best suited for content-creation apps, going forward well think about what else might make sense, a Facebook spokeswoman said Monday.
