Due to an editing error, Friday's story, "Google's Project Loon close to launching thousands of balloons" had a typo in the headline. "Thousands" was misspelled. In addition, the first paragraph used "it's" instead of "its."
The headline and lede have been corrected and now read as follows:

Google says its Project Loon is close to being able to produce and launch thousands of balloons to provide Internet access from the sky.
