How to track your iPhone 6s or 6s Plus without a tracking number

22.09.2015
There’s a trick you can use to stalk your new iPhone’s trek across the globe, even if Apple hasn’t sent you a shipping notification.

First, head to the UPS tracking site. Then, select the box labeled Track by Reference. In the Shipment Reference box type in the phone number tied to your new iPhone.

Then, click Track. You’ll be taken to the Tracking Detail page, which lists the progress of your shipment. You also now have your tracking number, which you can use to check up on the status later. Or if you create a free My UPS account, it will be saved for easy retrieval.

As you can see, my iPhone 6s Plus is already on its way and should be crossing the Pacific Ocean soon. It’s a good sign it will hit my doorstep on Friday, as promised.

You now have the information to follow your iPhone’s journey. This has been known to cause some to hit refresh on the browser tab up to 100 times per day. At least we warned you.
