Optus enterprise plans to evolve for NBN

04.10.2014
Optus has lifted the curtain on its National Broadband Network plans for enterprise by announcing Optus Evolve voice and data services over the NBN.

Evolve, available now, is a suite of configurable, integrated voice and data services for enterprise. It includes IP-based Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), Internet, direct line and voice services.

Optus Business customers can choose symmetrical or asymmetrical access depending on their budget and service requirements.

Symmetrical access provides high download and upload speeds, which are required for high-quality videoconferencing and other data-intensive services. Assymetrical access provides high download speeds only, which Optus said is best for customers that operate mainly Internet data or non-critical WAN traffic environments.

"We continue to see strong and increasing demand from our customers for enterprise-level NBN access that has the capability to deliver leading business solutions and applications," said John Paitaridis, managing director of Optus Business.
