Techworld announces bigger and better Techies for 2016
We have had an overwhelmingly positive response from the UK technology industry and have listened to entrants and decided to give you more time to prepare and submit your applications.
The glitzy awards ceremony, designed to celebrate entrepreneurship, innovation and disruption, will still take place at the 5* ME Hotel in Central London but based on the feedback we've received we plan to make them even bigger than we'd previously envisaged.
Bubbles will be flowing and we plan for the evening to have even more surprises and entertainment.
With The Techies, we've set out to champion all that is great about the UK technology sector, offering over 25 awards to some of the nation's best technologists, entrepreneurs, mentors and investors.
Awards will go to forward-thinking individuals and companies that are pushing the boundaries in everything from mobile app development and wearables to security and social media.
Through The Techies, we want to bring some of the most progressive firms to the attention of the tech community and beyond, while highlighting their excellence to support their growth and hopefully facilitate them in becoming the technology giants of tomorrow.
We're accepting entries now so be sure to spread the word to people and companies that you think could be in with a shout of winning one of what are already becoming highly-sought after awards. The new deadline for entries is 11 December.
The ceremony, to be held on 25 February, will provide you and your company with the perfect opportunity to celebrate all your hard work over the last year during one incredible night in capital.
Applications will be judged by Techworld's editorial team in conjunction with a distinguished panel of experts.
