Security software company, Trend Micro, has expanded its Cloud App Security solution to Box, Dropbox and Google Drive.

The company said its solution enhances the content security built into Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to defend against targeted attacks by enforcing compliance and keeping malware out of the public Cloud sharing services.

The app integrates with Trend Micro Control Manager to provide user-centric visibility of compliance and threat events across multiple security layers.

Trend Micro director of Cloud and Datacentre security APAC, Sasha Pavlovic, said the Cloud Security Apps extension to the popular sharing services, now enables organisations to embrace the efficiency of the services whilst maintaining security.

“Trend Micro has been protecting the Cloud throughout its proliferation as a business platform, and as the technology evolves, we’ve continued to innovate with solutions like Cloud App Security,” he added.
