Addictive Technology Solutions aims to work more closely with Autotask

Managed IT and electronic security services company, Addictive Technology Solutions, intends to build on its existing partnership with IT management software vendor, Autotask.

The company's director, Robert Marsden, told ARN he's looking forward to taking Addictive Technology Solutions' relationship with Autotask further by enrolling in its CCP program, which enables the company to become an Autotask community expert.

"I'd really love to get involved in that program and get involved in helping other customers and convince them to come across to Autotask. We believe in the product that much and the direction it's heading in. They've helped Addictive Technology Solutions and we owe a lot of that success to their platform," Marsden said.

Addictive Technology Solutions is Autotask's newest partner in Australia. The company started using Autotask's solutions as a customer from mid-2013. Since then, it utilises Autotask's CRM, its service desk, inventory, contract management, and project management.

"We also invoice out of it but we have a separate financial system that we use. But otherwise, we use Autotask to its full capacity. Last year, we were the first customers in Australia to sign up for its CentraStage product, which is now an Autotask endpoint management software," Marsden mentioned.

In addition, Marsden claimed the recent Autotask global event was a chance for the company to mingle with other customers and discuss ways they're solving some of the same challenges Addictive Technology Solutions is facing.

"Seeing what some of the other customers were doing with their specific reporting, widgets, and what metrics they were creating with dashboards within Autotask, what they were monitoring and how they were handling some their service management cues was important for us.

"But the biggest level of excitement, for me, was seeing the future releases of some of the stuff Autotask's working on," he added.

Another focus for Addictive Technology Solutions is meeting the right vendor partners of Autotask that the company intends to engage with.

"We want to fine-tune that overall solution with every main vendor that we're working with. And we want to ensure that they somehow have a relationship based upon Addictive Technology Solutions' Autotask relationship.

"Since going to that conference, we've also switched our entire back-up infrastructure over to Datto because of that relationship with Autotask. It's really important for us," Marsden concluded.
