12.06.2015
Microsoft most recently announced the winners of its 2015 partner of the year awards, recognising its top partners that are demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.

Award winners and finalists, chosen out of nominations from around the world, will soon be recognized at the 2015 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference due to take place between July 12 and July 16 in Orlando, Florida.

This year, Microsoft recognised partners in 43 categories that celebrate each of the core partner competencies, including Cloud technology, public sector, citizenship, and sales excellence. The award winners were selected from a group of nominations based on their commitment to customers, their solution's market impact and exemplary use of Microsoft technologies.

Dimension Data, Cisco, and NetApp were jointly recognised for the 2015 modern datacentre: customer focus partner of the year award.

Dimension Data Microsoft solutions group general manager, Peter Menadue, said the award recognises all three companies as world class Microsoft partners that demonstrate client focus, market relevance and expertise in Microsoft technologies.

"This award is a powerful example of how an eco-system of partners can team to deliver a solution that helps customers capture their share of the $19T Internet of Everything opportunity and embrace digitisation," Cisco global and strategic partners vice-president, Rick Snyder, claimed.

"Through our partner ecosystem, NetApp continues to provide customers with solutions to help grow their business. We are excited to be recognized with Cisco and Data Dimension and by one of our global alliances, Microsoft, for the excellence we provide our customers," NetApp global alliances vice-president, Maria Olson, added.
