Pastabilities spreads its wings with Tall Emu CRM

29.01.2015
Australian gourmet food business, Pastabilities, has gone live with a new Tall Emu CRM system and e-commerce website.

Tall Emu, an Aussie software company founded in 2001, has automated many of Pastabilities' internal processes, including integrating its new CRM system and website with its existing MYOB accounting system.

This now enables company to have immediate visibility of all customer data including order history, product preferences and comprehensive contact information.

It allows a more personal and more efficient service, while targeting individual customers with special offers and new products they are likely to be interested in.

The new e-commerce website now enables retail customers to order Pastabilties full range of products.

Deli's and restaurants will have the ability to order their products online in the near future.

The immediate capturing of essential customer data feeding into the CRM system will influence many facets of the business.

Future plans include integrating its Tall Emu CRM system with its existing phone system to enable its sales team to recognise who is calling them and immediately have all their customer information and order history right on the screen in front of them.

Pastabilities director, Luciano Schettini, said it had been challenging to organise customer information with such a large and diverse nature of the different markets it operates in.

"Tall Emu has delivered immense benefits to our business already in terms of having customer information and ordering history at our fingertips," he said.

"The project is only in its infancy, but we are anticipating significant growth through Web orders, email marketing and an altogether more efficiently run business,"

Tall Emu chief exeuctive, Mike Nash, said, the challenge with any small to medium-sized organisation was the affordability of systems which enable them to utilise all the efficiencies technology provides.

"We have provided a highly adaptable system to Pastabilities which largely removes the manual component of their customer ordering process by linking all their essential systems to CRM," he said.

"Centralising all of this information is a huge timesaver. With all of the process efficiencies we've helped them achieve, Pastabilities is perfectly positioned for growth without having to double their workforce.
