Star Wars Battlefront goes on sale in November 2015, with the exact release date to be confirmed. EA announced the news on Twitter.

With EA now owning the rights to develop Star Wars games, its subsidiary DICE is in control and is using the Frostbite 3 engine. The studio said the game will be "DICE's interpretation of what Battlefront should be"
