SkyKick boots Cloud management into APAC market

Global provider of Cloud management software for information technology (IT) solution partners, SkyKick, has expanded operations in the Asia-Pacific region to support delivery of a new category of Cloud software called Cloud management.

The company has secured an exclusive distribution agreement with SoftBank Commerce & Service (C&S) Corporation in Japan, is launching its new Cloud management products in Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ), and is expanding operations into Hong Kong, Singapore, India and other Asia-Pacific markets.

SkyKick now has more than a thousand partners in 15 Pacific Rim nations, and two main offices in the region in Sydney and Tokyo.

“Adoption of Cloud services in APAC is growing significantly with spending on these solutions expected to hit $11.5 billion by 2018 in the region,” SkyKick co-CEO, Evan Richman, said. “That makes it critical for businesses and their IT partners to find an effective way to manage this Cloud presence, and that’s SkyKick: one integrated platform for managing the Cloud.”

Launches Cloud management products in A/NZ

SkyKick is launching its new Cloud management products in A/NZ. The products enable IT partners to migrate, backup and centrally manage Cloud data and services for popular Cloud products such as Microsoft Office 365 and Dropbox.

According to the compnay, its research has found that IT partners spend more than three billion hours on Cloud management activity every year. This number is reduced with SkyKick’s Cloud management products.

With SkyKick’s Cloud management products, IT providers in Australia and New Zealand now have one unified platform with integrated applications to grow their Cloud customer base and create more operational efficiency in managing their customers in the Cloud.

SoftBank C&S Partnership

SoftBank C&S is Japan’s largest Cloud IT distributor, and SkyKick is the leader in Cloud management software. The new partnership means SoftBank C&S will offer SkyKick’s complete portfolio of Cloud solutions to help move and then manage over 30 million business users in Japan.

Ingram Micro Offering SkyKick’s Solutions in Hong Kong, Singapore and India

SkyKick has a longstanding relationship with leading global distie, Ingram Micro. SkyKick’s migration solutions are part of Ingram Micro’s North American, European and A/NZ Microsoft Cloud solution provider portfolios, and SkyKick’s CSP product is integrated into Ingram Micro’s Cloud marketplace.

Today, Ingram Micro is furthering this relationship by including SkyKick’s Coud migration solutions in its Cloud solution provider portfolios in Hong Kong, Singapore and India.
