What is Amazon Prime Day: Get an Amazon Prime discount ahead of huge Amazon Prime deals day on 15 July

07.07.2015
Amazon has just announced that it will be hosting a massive deals day on 15 July to celebrate its 20th birthday. Amazon Prime day is for Prime members only, but you can get Prime for £59 instead of £79 right now. Here's how.

Amazon is offering Amazon Prime for £59 until 23:59 on 8 July, and you can take advantage of that offer by clicking here.

What is Amazon Prime

Amazon Prime is Amazon's paid-for service that offers a number of benefits. For £59 (or £79 if you join after 8 July), you'll get a year's worth of unlimited One-Day Delivery, access to Amazon Prime Instant Video's TV shows and movies, and unlimited photo storage.

£59 is a great deal - if you sign up for Prime Instant Video (formerly LoveFilm) alone it'll cost you £71.88 per year, so this way you're getting the video streaming service plus the delivery and photo perks for more than £10 less than the Prime Instant Video subscription.

Deals will be available across electronics, toys, films and more, and they'll arrive in the form of Lightning Deals so you'll need to keep an eye on the site all day and place your order quickly if you don't want to miss out.

Amazon Prime Day is set to take place around the world, including UK, US, Spain, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, Canada and Austria.
