Hisense backs Ricciardo and Infinity Red Bull racing team
The announcement was at the Shanghai International Circuit ahead of the Chinese Grand Prix.
It adds to the company's sponsorship programs in the US with NASCAR, The Australian Open tennis tournament and Schalke 04 football team in Germany .
Hisense executive president, Lan Lin, said Infiniti Red Bull Racing was one of the most successful and most talked about teams in a sport, renowned for technology, teamwork and competitiveness.
"Like Infiniti Red Bull Racing, we are a proud challenger brand and we continually innovate our best-in-class consumer products to stay ahead of the others," he said. "We look forward to sharing these with the team to help them throughout the season."
Team Principal, Christian Horner , said everyone associated with Infiniti Red Bull Racing was delighted to welcome Hisense to the team.
"Their approach to innovation and technological development is impressive and we look forward to our partnership developing as the season unfolds."
The partnership means Hisense's range of consumer electronics products will be supplied to the team both at track and in the factory.
